Shifts are as following:
Four 8 hour shifts per week
Every other weekend and holiday commitment
Shift times are 11:00pm-7:30am
Summary
Serves as a support person for the nursing staff by providing clerical/secretarial and receptionist services.
Job Description
Assists in the efficient and effective operation of the unit. Promotes public relations to assure service excellence to patients, families, visitors and hospital departmental staff. On the job training provided to the point of competency.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Familiarity with medical terminology either through past work experience or formal technical training in medical secretary course work. Typing skills of at least 40 words/minute. Proficient in use of computers and computer software.
Certification and registry with the Minnesota Board of Nursing Assistant Registry is preferred.
