Job Summary

Responsible for assuring the proper, safe, efficient, and timely completion of landscape installation projects.

Job Description

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Operate and transport heavy equipment including truck and trailer combination, water truck, backhoe, bobcat, trencher, and skiploader with bucket for a variety of landscape operations.
  • Inspects equipment daily to ensure proper and safe operation.
  • Installation of landscape.
  • Operation, care, use and maintenance of all hand tools, power tools and construction equipment related to the trade.
  • Application of methods and techniques of handling, distributing Storage and delivery of material and equipment.
  • Soil amendments, testing, treatment and compaction.
  • Layout, installation and establishment of plants, trees, shrubs, ground covers, turf, plant identification, etc.
  • Application of job safety and rigging and moving loads.

  • Constantly required to talk, hear, see, sit, stand and walk.

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. of weight frequently throughout the day.
