About the Team
ACCEL Schools is seeking a passionate and highly qualified Library Media Specialist to join the team at Barber Preparatory Academy. Our mission is to provide every student with the resources, skills, and inspiration to succeed-both in the classroom and in life.
As a Library Media Specialist, you will be at the heart of our learning community-cultivating a love of reading, supporting academic success, and integrating technology and library resources into the curriculum. You'll serve as a teacher, program manager, and instructional partner, while developing research-based practices to promote early literacy and lifelong learning.
About the Opportunity
In this role, you will:
  • Prepare and deliver engaging lessons that promote reading, research, and learning
  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
  • Organize, catalog, and maintain all library materials and resources
  • Collaborate with teachers to integrate library skills into the curriculum
