Job Description
New LD Unit Prefer LD nurses with a strong NICU background or nurses coming from a LEVEL 2 or higher nursery. Though the OB/L&D unit has a Level 1 nursery, I expect the nurses will have to provide care to LEVEL 2 or higher newborns while awaiting transport to a higher level of care. There will be those few times when an unstable newborn is delivered and requires a higher level of care but it may take hours before transport.
