Cardiovascular Intermediate Care (CVIMC) Registered Nurse

Full-Time Night Shift

Join the Cardiovascular Intermediate Care (CVIMC) team at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital and care for patients recovering from complex cardiovascular, vascular, and thoracic procedures in a fast-paced, specialized environment. This 18-bed unit provides an excellent opportunity to build your critical care skills while caring for patients with advanced monitoring needs, including multiple lines and drips.

Nurses work alongside an experienced, collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care while supporting professional growth and development. If you're looking to expand your cardiovascular knowledge, strengthen your clinical skills, and grow your nursing career in a high-acuity setting, we'd love to have you join our team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needsโ€”from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team
