Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality screening mammograms to support early detection and diagnosis of breast abnormalities.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety, imaging, and regulatory standards for mammography services.

  • Follow departmental protocols and maintain accurate, timely documentation.

Qualifications

Experience

  • At least 1 year of mammography experience preferred; new mammography technologists in training may be considered.

Education & Training

  • Completion of an ACR-approved or equivalent Radiologic Technology program preferred, or active enrollment in such a program.

Licensure & Certifications

  • Active Massachusetts Radiography License (MALIRM) or in process of obtaining mammography-specific credentials.

  • ARRT(R) certification required; ARRT(M) in Mammography preferred or in progress.

  • Current CPR certification required.​

The ideal candidate is a Massachusetts-licensed Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R) with current or developing expertise in mammography and progress toward ARRT(M) certification.
