Position Overview
Novak Construction is seeking skilled and dependable Carpenters to join our project teams. This position involves working at designated construction sites across the U.S., performing a variety of carpentry tasks including framing, installation, and finish work. Candidates must be willing to travel and remain onsite for the duration of each project.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform rough and finish carpentry work, including framing, drywall, doors, windows, trim, and casework installation
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to complete assigned tasks accurately
  • Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to project requirements
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a safe work area in compliance with company and OSHA standards
  • Collaborate with others to ensure high-quality work and timely project completion
  • Work onsite for the full duration of assigned projects
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of carpentry experience in commercial or industrial construction
  • Willingness to travel and stay at project sites for extended periods
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, tools, and materials
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
  • OSHA-30 certification required
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
