Carpenter (Restoration) – Sioux Falls, SD

INTEK is seeking a skilled and versatile Restoration Carpenter to join our Sioux Falls team. We are looking for high-quality craftsmen with a proven track record in drywall, painting, framing, or finish carpentry who are ready to help our clients rebuild after fire and water damage. If you are a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in your work, enjoys a variety of tasks, and can maintain a positive, empathetic attitude during challenging customer situations, we want to hear from you. Essential Functions:

·         Work efficiently while maintaining safety standards.

·         Perform the full range of carpentry tasks from rough framing to high-end finish work.

·         Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently

·         Ensure all work is square, level, and built to last.

·         Safely tear out impacted/damaged materials to prepare for the rebuild.

·         Work confidently with wood, plastic, fiberglass, and drywall.

·         Comfortable working on ladders and scaffolding.

·         Identify fire and water damage and document scope of the impacted area.

·         Keep simple, accurate records of progress.

·         Keep the workspace clean and professional from start to finish.

·         Hang, tape and finish drywall.

·         Apply high quality paint finishes and coatings.

·         Willing to learn water remediation and jump in on the on-call schedule when needed.
