FOX News Digital is seeking a Homepage and Social Media Editor to help shape how audiences engage with one of the most powerful news brands in the world.

On FOX Newsand FOX Business, you'll work with a team of editors and autonomously to curate the homepages and apps, using a mix of data, editorial guidance, and your own journalistic judgment to feature our array of content.

You'll also help drive audience engagement on social media by crafting and editing headlines and captions, editing photos and clipping videos, controlling livestreams, and producing and editing scroll-stopping visual graphics. This role is responsible for making decisions about what we cover on social media and how we cover it.

You're a trusted newsroom contributor: someone who thrives under pressure, thinks creatively and independently, has exceptional editorial and social media instincts, and will bring a relentless focus to helping FOX dominate and drive the news.

**You must be flexible to work weekends and holidays as needed.**


A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help curate the FOX News and FOX Business homepages and apps

  • Use real-time analytics tools to determine desired content placements

  • Write and edit compelling headlines and captions for social media

  • Make visually engaging montages, photo illustrations, and slideshows

  • Monitor live streams and press conferences for newsworthy moments

  • Clip breaking news videos and identify and clip videos with viral potential

  • Leverage artificial intelligence tools to work better, faster, and smarter

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • At least 4 years experience working in a newsroom environment

  • Proven ability to work under deadline in a breaking news environment

  • Familiarity with the FOX brand and desire to help FOX dominate and drive news

  • Exceptional command of language, including in headline writing, self-editing and editing, and an eye for visuals

  • Familiarity with real-time analytics and social media platforms, including Facebook, X, Instagram, and TikTok

  • Photo editing experience preferred; video editing experience a plus

  • Strong organizational and time management skills; exceptional attention to detail

  • Experience integrating AI tools into editorial workflows to enhance speed, efficiency, and decision-making, while exercising strong editorial judgment and oversight.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $74,000.00-94,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
