Job description

Senior Program Management Specialist (Data Analyst)- (TOP SECRET Level):
This position is tasked with compiling data from multiple sources within the Drug Enforcement Agency's Special Operations Division.
This position requires experience in the logistics supply chain (maritime, land, air) and familiarity with the corresponding data sets.
The Analyst should have the ability to collect, standardize large disparate sets of data, and identify relevant fields that correspond with DEA investigative data.
Additionally, the analyst must have experience in geospatially demonstrating results through creating maps with points, keys, and legends that demonstrate criminal phenomenon from field agents, analysts, and HQ.
Furthermore, the analyst must have experience with DEA data sources and developed methods to find, harvest, combine, and move target rich data into analytical tools such as Microsoft's Power Query and IBM's Analyst's Notebook.
The individual must have experience in non-DEA data sources such as FinCEN, Southwest Border TRAC, Western Union data, CLEAR, and Department of Transportation (DOT) records.
In order to perform assigned duties, this individual will have access to classified computer networks, such as Merlin to retrieve/review information and will be required to attend classified briefings given by DEA and other Federal Agencies.
Due to the nature of this work, it is not feasible to minimize the access to only a Non-Disclosure Agreement. Based on the operational needs and job requirements, this position needs to have a TOP SECRET clearance level.

Qualifications
5+ (Mid) and 10+ (Sr / SME) years of experience in data analysis; law enforcement analysis of transportation and finances in relation to drug trafficking data desired.
3+ years of experience participating in projects/investigations.
A Bachelor's Degree. A graduate degree or applicable work experience in data science is desirable.
