Your role:

In your role as Recruiter, you'll play a key role in attracting, hiring, and welcoming exceptional talent to our growing credit union. In this dynamic position, you'll manage the full-cycle recruitment process, partner closely with hiring managers to develop effective hiring strategies and create an outstanding candidate and new hire experience.
In this role you will:

  • Efficiently and effectively manage the full-cycle recruitment process for positions by developing and implementing creative, professional, and ethical recruiting strategies.
  • Create, publish, and manage job postings across appropriate recruitment platforms to attract qualified candidates. Review resumes and employment applications to identify top talent and ensure candidates meet credit union requirements. Lead recruitment and candidate selection efforts by conducting interviews, coordinating the hiring process, based on strategic discussions with hiring manager.
  • Administer and evaluate pre-employment assessments and background ensuring consistent, fair, and compliant hiring practices throughout the recruitment process.
  • Establish and foster relationships with hiring managers to develop talent attraction strategies that support credit union mission and goals for growth. Provide guidance and training to hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques, best practices, and legal hiring standards to ensure fair, compliant, and consistent hiring practices.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new employees by preparing welcome packets, coordinating a positive onboarding experience, and fostering employee engagement from day one.
  • Conduct scheduled check-ins with new hires throughout their onboarding period to provide support, address questions or concerns, gather feedback, and help ensure a smooth and successful transition into their roles.
  • Collaborate with managers and cross-functional teams to promote a welcoming environment and engaging onboarding experience.
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
  • Maintain employee documents provided to new hires and candidates being offered a position.
  • Manage internal transfer and promotion process.
  • Post and manage job postings across applicant tracking systems and multiple recruitment channels, including online job boards, colleges, and community organizations, to attract qualified candidates and support hiring objectives.
  • Comply with the requirements of all Credit Union policies and procedures including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering regulations as they relate to the position.
  • Comply with all security guidelines related to physical and information security.
  • Commitment to Credit Unions’ needs and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Deliver service to both internal and external members that are in alignment with the Credit Union’s Service Standards and meet all established goals.
