Teacher Assistant (ESY Program)
Monday, June 29 to Friday, August 7, 2026
Union County Educational Services Commission is an expansive public agency providing innovative, dynamic and cost-effective educational programs and services for students enrolled in the 21 member public school districts in Union County. The Commission is currently seeking experienced and dedicated Teacher Assistant  to fill positions in Extended School Year Program at Crossroads School, in Westfield, NJ, Westlake School in Westfield, NJ, and Work Readiness Academy in Union, NJ

** Candidates must be available to work all ( 6 weeks) ESY Program dates to be considered for an interview **












Available Positions 

  • Crossroads School - Westfield, NJ (Pre-K to Grade 8 - Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders)
  • Westlake School - Westfield, NJ (Grade 5 - 12 - Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Multiple Disabilities)
  • Work Readiness- Union, NJ ( Ages 18-21- Students with Disabilities) 


Description:

  • Dates: Monday, June 29 to Friday, August 7, 2026
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday
  • Hours: 8:45 - 2:15 p.m.
  • Compensation: $22.84/hour 

Requirements:

  • High School diploma.
  • New Jersey Criminal History Review
  • Experience working with students with disabilities in an educational setting is preferred.
