Job Description

We are seeking a deadline-driven Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations for projects in the central NY reqion. This role will oversee all field activities, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with experience managing multiple trades and delivering successful construction projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all on-site construction personnel and subcontractors
  • Oversee daily field operations across multiple trades
  • Review project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure adherence
  • Maintain project timelines and drive work to meet deadlines
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications
  • Coordinate material deliveries and manage site logistics
  • Conduct site meetings and participate in production meetings
  • Enforce job site safety, cleanliness, and organization
  • Maintain daily reports, RFIs, and field documentation
  • Coordinate inspections and approvals with local authorities

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in construction supervision or management
  • Experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors
  • Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, ProjectSight, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing and scheduling
  • Ability to manage schedules and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with masonry, doors, and building envelope systems
  • Telecommunications facilities or data center environments
  • Electrical systems and mechanical/chiller plant installations
