Job description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead field operations on large-scale electrical construction projects, with a primary focus on data center builds. This role is responsible for supervising crews, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring safe, high-quality execution in a fast-paced union construction environment.
The ideal candidate brings strong electrical foreman leadership experience along with a proven background managing complex, large facility construction projects such as data centers, healthcare facilities, manufacturing plants, or other mission-critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise electrical field crews on large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects
  • Coordinate daily activities with project managers, general contractors, subcontractors, and union labor teams
  • Manage installation of electrical systems including power distribution, switchgear, conduit, cable tray, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems
  • Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, NEC codes, and company standards
  • Drive production schedules and maintain progress on fast-paced construction timelines
  • Conduct daily planning meetings, toolbox talks, and workforce coordination
  • Review blueprints, construction drawings, schedules, and specifications to plan work activities
  • Monitor manpower, material usage, and productivity to support project goals and budgets
  • Coordinate inspections and quality control processes
  • Identify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize delays
  • Maintain strong communication across all trades and stakeholders on site

Top Skills Required
  • Extensive experience as an Electrical Foreman
  • Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects such as:
    • Data centers
    • Healthcare facilities
    • Manufacturing facilities
    • Large commercial or industrial builds

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Electrical Foreman experience on large commercial or industrial projects
  • Strong leadership and crew management capabilities
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and construction documents
  • Experience managing project schedules and coordinating field operations
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • Journeyman Electrician license preferred (where applicable)

Work Environment

Compensation: $105k-$115k base
