Kenny Kent Toyota Lexus is looking for an experienced and customer-focusedย Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writerย to join our service department. As the primary link between our customers and technicians, youโ€™ll play a vital role in ensuring each guest receives exceptional service while their vehicle is maintained or repaired. If you have a background inย automotive service writing, customer communication, and repair order management, this is an excellent opportunity to grow with a respected dealership.

Automotive Service Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers, listen to their concerns, and accurately write repair orders.
  • Communicate recommended services, costs, and timelines in a clear and professional manner.
  • Work closely with technicians to ensure all repairs and maintenance are performed correctly and on time.
  • Provide ongoing updates to customers regarding vehicle status and any additional repair needs.
  • Process warranty claims, payments, and ensure all documentation is complete in theย Dealer Management System (DMS).
  • Uphold dealership standards for customer service, accuracy, and productivity.

Automotive Service Advisor Qualifications:

  • 1 - 3+ years of experience as anย Automotive Service Advisor, Service Writer, or related roleย (dealership experience preferred).
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
  • Knowledge ofย automotive repair, maintenance, and service department operations.
  • Computer proficiency with DMS software (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar).
  • Professional, reliable, and team-oriented work ethic.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license with clean driving record.
