Midco Diving & Marine Services is the leading full-service underwater construction, inspection, and repair firm in the nation. Our work is critical-we dive deep to inspect and repair everything from municipal water tanks and bridges to dams and processing plants. Our motto says it all: "We Do That." As a Commercial Diver at Midco, you will be part of a team that handles diverse and complex projects nationwide. You will travel the country, working on everything from lakes, dams, and bridges to potable water tanks and underwater construction. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in challenging environments and is committed to upholding the highest safety and quality standards.
What You'll Do
  • Deliver Excellence: Execute high-standard cleaning, detailed inspections, structural repairs, and routine maintenance across diverse job sites.
  • Work Independently and as a Team: Function effectively both as an independent operator and as part of a crew, including providing direction and support to teammates on site.
  • Prioritize Safety: Follow all OSHA, company, and industry safety protocols and regulations to mitigate hazards for yourself, your dive team, and clientele.
  • Communicate Effectively: Maintain clear, professional, and ongoing communication with dive crew members, management, and office staff regarding project status, schedule shifts, and safety issues.
  • Tackle Diverse Environments: Operates in challenging, high-intensity environments-including working at elevated heights, inside confined spaces, and performing demanding physical labor (climbing, hoisting, crawling, squatting).
  • Handle Paperwork: Timely and precise completion of electronic paperwork, including daily logs, dive logs, and additional work reports for internal review.
  • Travel and Adaptability: Maintain readiness for extensive, year-round travel and adapting seamlessly to varying regional climates, site dynamics, and demanding field conditions.

What We're Looking For
  • Desire to grow and develop in your field
  • An open mind to learn company specific policies, procedures, and safety practices
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Commercial Dive School Diploma from an ADCI accredited program
  • Valid Dive Physical (completed within the last year)
  • Valid CPR, First Aid, and O2 certification required
  • Current ADCI Diver/Tender card
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Potable diving experience is a huge plus!
