Senior Utility Foreman - Civil Construction
Stuart Contractors, LLC
Stuart Contractors is seeking a highly experienced Senior Utility Foreman to lead underground utility crews on civil site construction projects. We are looking for a proven field leader with extensive knowledge of underground utilities who can take ownership of a project, lead a crew, and keep work progressing safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
โ€ข Direct and manage underground utility crews in daily field operations
โ€ข Lead the installation of water, sewer, storm drain, manholes, structures, and related underground utilities
โ€ข Plan daily crew activities, manpower, equipment, and materials to maintain productivity
โ€ข Read and understand construction plans, grades, elevations, and utility drawings
โ€ข Coordinate project needs and daily progress with Project Managers and other field personnel
โ€ข Monitor workmanship to ensure installations meet project specifications
โ€ข Maintain safe trenching and excavation practices and ensure OSHA requirements are followed
โ€ข Operate heavy equipment when necessary and remain hands-on in field operations

What We're Looking For:
โ€ข 10+ years of underground utility and/or civil site development experience
โ€ข Minimum 5 years of Foreman experience
โ€ข Extensive knowledge of underground pipe installation and utility construction
โ€ข Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and motivate field crews
โ€ข Ability to read plans, establish grades, and understand project specifications
โ€ข Heavy equipment operating experience
โ€ข Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
โ€ข Valid driver's license required
โ€ข Dependable, safety-focused, and willing to assist wherever needed to get the job done
Schedule:
Monday through Friday with a typical 6:30 AM start time. Additional hours may be required depending on project schedules and workload.
