Maternal Fetal Medicine Faculty Physician

The University of North Carolina Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is recruiting an openโ€‘rank (tenureโ€‘track or nonโ€‘tenure track) Maternalโ€‘Fetal Medicine (MFM) faculty physician. Three or more years of MFM experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Clinical: Highโ€‘risk obstetric care, perinatal consultation, prenatal diagnosis, ultrasound, genetic services, invasive fetal therapy, and perinatal outreach
  • Teaching: Active participation in UNCโ€™s Center for Maternal and Infant Health, student and resident teaching, subspecialty training for six MFM fellows
  • Research: opportunity to participate if desired

Requirements & Qualifications
  • MD or DO required
  • Must be Board Certified/Active Candidate in OBโ€‘GYN and Maternalโ€‘Fetal Medicine.
  • Completion of both a 4โ€‘year ACGME approved OBโ€‘GYN residency and a 3โ€‘year ACOG approved fellowship in Maternalโ€‘Fetal Medicine.
  • Preferred: Three+ years of postโ€‘fellowship MFM experience Demonstrated commitment to excellence in clinical care and medical education.
