JOB DETAILS:
Exempt: No / FTE: 1.0 (40 hours/week) / Schedule: 8a-430p Weekdays, Call / On Call: YES
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible to maintain regulatory and professional standards and exhibit strong decision-making capabilities. A close working relationship with Radiology leadership, radiologists, if applicable Medical Director for the Center for Maternal Fetal Care (MFM) and the medical staff is required to maintain a cost-effective and patient-focused service. Identifying and accomplishing program goals, action items, and outcomes are also components of this position. This position is responsible to provide care for patients undergoing ultrasound procedures using the approved workflows and procedural protocols. Technologists in this position are able to demonstrate full knowledge of ultrasound equipment. This position is responsible to supervise staff who provide care for patients undergoing ultrasound procedures.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent, Required
Graduate of a Radiology, Imaging or related educational program.
EXPERIENCE:
2 or more years Ultrasound clinical experience, Required
2 or more years of Ultrasound supervisory experience, Required
Required- 2 or more years Ultrasound clinical experience
Required- 2 or more years of Ultrasound supervisory experience
Maternal Fetal Medicine ultrasound experience required (Women's and Alamance Regional)
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
