Job description

Volt is immediately hiring NDT Tech Ultrasonic in Decatur, IL.
As a NDT Tech Ultrasonic you will:
Primary Responsibilities
  • The Ultrasonic NDT technician is part of a team that provides Ultrasonic inspections to the steel fabrications assembly group.
  • The team performs receiving, in-stream processes, and outgoing quality audits to validate cast and fabricated structures per weld engineering and manufacturing specifications.
  • Individuals are responsible for tracking and entering inspection results in electronic databases. Magnetic particles (wet/dry), liquid penetrant, visual weld inspection and other non-destructive inspection methods are occasionally required.
  • The technician would be based in the production factory building.
  • Previous ultrasonic experience is required.

This is a Full-Time, Long-Term opportunity.
Pay Rate: $28- $35 per hour.
