NDT RT Assistant – Louisville, KYFull-Time | Local Candidates Only

We are currently seeking experienced NDT RT Assistants for full-time opportunities in Louisville, Kentucky. Candidates must be local to the Louisville area and have previous RT Assistant experience.

Position Summary

The NDT RT Assistant will support certified Radiographic Testing (RT) Technicians with inspection activities in industrial environments. This position requires strong safety awareness, reliability, and the ability to work in fast-paced field and shop settings.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist RT Technicians with radiographic testing operations and inspections
  • Help set up and maintain radiographic equipment and work areas
  • Handle and transport inspection tools, materials, and equipment
  • Maintain compliance with all radiation safety and company safety procedures
  • Support film processing and digital radiography operations as needed
  • Prepare work areas and assist with equipment calibration and setup
  • Maintain accurate documentation and inspection records
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
  • Work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as project demands require
Qualifications
  • Previous RT Assistant experience required
  • Strong understanding of industrial safety practices
  • Ability to work in industrial and outdoor environments
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • State card or radiation safety training preferred
  • Additional NDT experience or certifications are a plus
  • TWIC card and OSHA certifications are a plus
