Ultra Records is looking for a Manager, Social Media to join the Marketing team. As a Social Media Manager at Ultra Records, you will develop and implement innovative and effective digital marketing plans and social media strategy with a focus on Dance and Electronic artists.

What you'll do:
  • Community Management. Ensure that Ultra Records social media profiles (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, & Discord) & digital properties are best represented on priority social platforms.
  • Content Development. Produce and post digital content including text, images, videos on label social profiles and label owned and operated fan pages; liaise with in-house creative team on creation, execution, & delivery of label and artist centric promotional materials and generated content.
  • Content Strategy and Management. Oversee short-form content strategy for assigned artists on the roster, ensuring alignment with the artist's vision and current trends digitally.
  • Influencer Management. Concept influencer campaigns. Work with agencies to launch and monitor campaigns. Approve influencer drafts and oversee creative. Craft sound growth strategies while tracking development. Maintenance of internal influencer database.
  • Reporting. Track analytics and metrics of priority single and album releases across social media platforms. Compile and distribute regular reports both internally to the Ultra Records team and externally to artists and artist management. Utilize data to evaluate campaign performance and efficacy. Monitor artist development on socials, trends, and viral moments in real time, and manage the posting and engagement on the artist's social accounts, including developing relationships with fan pages.

Who you are:
  • 3+ years digital marketing & social media management experience, with a background in media or entertainment marketing strongly preferred
  • Proficient with major social media platforms & understanding of the DSP landscape and associated strategy and new tech platforms
  • A self-starter with ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to create digital marketing campaigns with different brand voices for both the label and artists on the rosterย 
  • A proven track record building a social following from the ground up
  • Solid understanding of creative positioning, key art/video execution, digital advertising, and influencer marketing
  • Equally creative and & analytical, with exceptional communication skills
  • Passionate music fan with broad knowledge of music & culture, but a specific specialization for Dance / Electronic music & culture
  • Outstanding attention to organization and detail
  • An excellent communicator and enthusiastic collaborator who works well with team members, external partners, and senior management
