About Us: The Michigan Milk Producers Association is a dairy farmer owned cooperative and dairy processor. Founded in 1916, the MMPA serves dairy farmers in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and Wisconsin. This role is highly detail-oriented and focused on maintaining accurate records, supporting daily HR functions, and assisting with employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and capable of handling sensitive information with confidentiality. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR departmentMaintain and organize employee files (both electronic and paper)Accurately file, scan, and archive HR documentation in compliance with company policiesPrepare and process routine HR documents.Ensure employee records are complete, accurate, and compliant with internal requirementsSupport onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing materials and coordinating logisticsAssist with planning and coordinating employee engagement activities and eventsHelp gather employee feedback through surveys or engagement initiativesPrepare HR-related documents, reports, and correspondence as neededOther duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred1-2 years of administrative or office support experience (HR experience preferred but not required) Skills/Attributes: Strong organizational and time management skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretionProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HRIS systems is a plusStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentStrong follow-through and accountability To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each responsibility satisfactorily.
