Job description

UCSF Fresno & Inspire Health - Cardiology Electrophysiology Faculty Opportunity

The UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program and Central California Faculty Medical Group (CCFMG), dba Inspire Health, are seeking a Cardiac Electrophysiologist faculty member at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank. The UCSF Fresno Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology, has a 3-year fellowship in cardiology and a 1-year fellowship in interventional cardiology. The successful candidate will work with the full-time faculty and cardiovascular fellowship in a dynamic, full-service program that has all modalities including advanced cardiac imaging.

Schedule: Monday-Friday. Mix of outpatient clinic/echo lab/cath lab. Low Weekend Call Burden (10 weekend calls/year).

Patient workload: 16-20 patients/day in clinic; All Inpatient work supported by fellows/residents/NP.

Academic/Clinical Engagement: Opportunities for teaching, research and leadership available.

Applicants must be board certified or eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and board certified or board eligible in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. The successful candidate should have excellent clinical and procedural skills, be willing to actively participate in medical education, and have experience and interest in clinical research. The successful candidate must have a Medical Degree (MD, DO or equivalent), and be eligible for a California medical license. Faculty appointment with UCSF will be commensurate with the applicant's background and accomplishments.

For positions exclusively funded by the affiliate organization: Inspire Health provided a reasonable salary estimate for this position: $420,000-$600,000.

The program is based in Fresno, California, where residents enjoy a high standard of living combined with a low cost of living.
