Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direction of the Radiologist, is able to perform MRI Scans and all related duties on the GE 1.5 magnet. Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical and computerized procedures for the purpose of detecting pathology. Participates in the establishment of scan protocols and in execution of specific applications. Responsible for contrast administration and maintaining knowledge and practice of MRI safety techniques. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and the medical staff. Is organized and able to perform several duties at once; is flexible enabling add-on requests to be completed as required. Position requires Call.


What qualifications you will need:
  • (ARRT-R) Radiography
  • Vocational School Graduate
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor, or (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • 1-3 years of experience preferred
