Job description

AI Solutions Architect - Build it, Scale it, Own it

At Sangoma, we’re embedding AI directly into the core of our UCaaS and CCaaS platforms to create real competitive advantage and real customer impact. We build the technology that keeps businesses connected and power the conversations that drive growth for organizations of every size. We are builders, partners, and problem solvers. We move with purpose, win as a team, and take ownership of results.

We’re looking for an AI Solutions Architect who wants to influence platform direction, not just contribute to a feature backlog. This is a strategic technical role inside Software Engineering where you’ll help define what we build, how we build it, and how it scales. If you’re someone who thinks in systems, challenges assumptions early, and cares deeply about shipping AI that performs in production, this is your seat at the table.

Your Role:
  • Partnering with Product Management to define AI-enabled capabilities that drive real competitive advantage
  • Vetting ideas early to ensure they are technically viable, scalable, and aligned with long-term platform strategy
  • Architecting AI-driven systems that balance performance, latency, accuracy, cost, and operational complexity
  • Designing end-to-end data flows that integrate seamlessly into Sangoma’s UCaaS and CCaaS environments
  • Guiding engineering teams with clear architectural specifications and measurable design principles
  • Ensuring AI components are secure, resilient, observable, and production-ready
  • Participating in design workshops, roadmap discussions, and cross-functional planning sessions

You will help ensure that what we build is not only innovative, but durable, scalable, and aligned with long-term platform evolution.

Requirements

Your Background:
  • 3 plus years of experience in Technical Product Architecture, Systems Design, AI Solutions Engineering, or similar role deploying AI/ML solutions in production
  • Knowledge of UCaaS/ CCaaS domains, real-time communications systems, voice, data and telecom concepts is a must.
  • Strong understanding of modern AI/ML techniques including LLMs, NLP, predictive modeling, speech analytics, agent assist, and automation
  • Demonstrated ability to design complex AI-driven systems and manage trade-offs such as accuracy vs. speed vs. cost
  • Exceptional communication and documentation skills, able to translate complex concepts across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with Product Discovery and early-phase ideation preferred
  • Familiarity with secure model deployment, data governance, and responsible AI practices preferred

Benefits

What We Offer:

  • Extensive Benefit Options (Health, Vision, Dental, Long & Short term Disability) effective after a short waiting period
  • Matching 401K program - 100% match on 4%.
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan after one year of service.
  • Flexible Time Off & Company Holidays
  • Entrepreneurial work environment partnered with high growth career opportunities

Are you ready to make a direct impact on the company and be rewarded for your performance? Are you ready to take on a new challenge?
