Hourly Rate: $20.00
Duties & Responsibilities
  • The Greeter Universal for Earn/WIOA programs will confer with customers by telephone or in person to explain CareerLink policies, procedures, and services to customers; maintain up-to-date knowledge of community services and resources available to customers and recommends/refers as appropriate.
  • Review customers' files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests; communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, and address complaints following up to ensure satisfactory resolution.
  • Review available schedule of services and arrange/confirm appointments for customers; set up and manage paper or electronic filing systems, records information, update paperwork, and maintain documents; enter and maintain information in databases.
  • Create and maintain monthly bulletin board containing timely and pertinent information about CareerLink Center.
  • Facilitate customer use of UC Courtesy Phone, maintains order, determines whether claimant demand requires request for call back on second phone from the UC Service Center.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in customer service preferred.
  • Must have an appropriate and valid state driver's license and be able to meet requirements for Eckerd's Auto Insurance and be able to drive for business purposes.
  • Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.

Eckerd Connects provides Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) services through contracts with the U.S. Department of Labor and local workforce boards, partnerships, and strategies to provide and create a career pathway for youth, adults, and dislocated workers. Training services include occupational skills training, customized training, on-the-job training, incumbent worker training, and transitional employment opportunities. We provide youth with development, academic instruction, career & technical education, and access to the 14 WIOA Youth Elements. We establish and develop relationships and networks with large and small employers and their intermediaries as well as develop, convene, or implement industry or sector partnerships.
