UAT Tester
Location: Orlando, FL
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $50/hr +
Position Overview
Seeking experienced
UAT Testers to support enterprise application testing initiatives. This role is responsible for validating business requirements, executing test strategies, documenting defects, and ensuring successful user acceptance testing across end-to-end business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Review business requirements, functional requirements, and process flows to ensure complete UAT coverage
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and testing documentation
- Execute manual testing and automated testing based on project requirements
- Create and maintain test data within UAT environments
- Execute test cases using OpenText ALM, UFT, UFT Developer, Empirix, Call Master, and other testing tools
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects through resolution
- Participate in defect triage sessions and collaborate with development teams
- Perform regression testing to validate system stability following fixes
- Provide feedback on system functionality, usability, and business process alignment
- Support UAT sign-off and release readiness activities
- Ensure all acceptance criteria are met before production deployment
- Follow established quality assurance and testing methodologies
