SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Software Engineer to develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise software applications supporting data integration and visualization in a secure, cloud-hosted environment. This role works within an Agile team and contributes independently to feature development under established architectural and technical guidance.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain web applications using C#, .NET, SQL, JavaScript, and Azure PaaS services.
  • Implement application features and integrations following established design patterns and coding standards.
  • Support integration with GOTS, COTS, and custom-built components.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Write unit tests and assist with system and integration testing.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, data stewards, and stakeholders to implement functional requirements.
  • Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving software defects.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and user support materials.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification or ability to obtain.
  • Experience with C#, ASP/.NET, SQL, JavaScript, and Vue.js.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.
  • Understanding of REST APIs and basic DevSecOps practices.
  • Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Exposure to Dynamics 365 or enterprise application platforms.
  • Experience supporting regulated or government systems.
  • Familiarity with BI tools or data visualization concepts.
