Job Description
Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Profession: Diagnostic Imaging

Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour shifts
Hours per Shift: 36 hours guaranteed
Experience: Minimum 2 years
License: Vascular certification required
Certifications: Vascular certification
Must-Have: Vascular certification
Description:
Ultrasound Technologist must be vascular certified.
Call is required and rotates between staff.
Call typically occurs on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Other shifts are covered by the midnight technician.
On average, staff is called in 2-3 days per month.
Agency call can be arranged for the weekend while working, not the weekend off if needed.
Shifts start at 0700 to 1930 on Thursdays and Fridays, and 0900 to 2130 on Sundays during week one.
During week two, shifts start at 0600 to 1830 on Mondays and 0700 to 1930 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
This scheduling model allows for full-time hours with one week off every other week.
Epic documentation is utilized.
The facility has an OB department.
The dress code permits any color scrubs.
