Job Description Summary:

The Strategy & Planning Intern is responsible for supporting the CS&E Team related to sales activation activities, execution of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and the team's attainment of business goals. They are responsible for maintaining internal reports using Microsoft Office applications, Power BI, and other internal systems. They will assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings, samples, and product cuttings, as well as any other project needs or ad hoc requests of the SS&P teams.Based on initiative, this position offers the potential for exposure to: Sales, Business Unit, Innovation, and Supply Chain.This position will report to the Innovation CS&E Manager, while also directly supporting the broader CS&E team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Incoming Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or MBA with at least one year of school remaining required. Business, Finance, Supply Chain or Animal Science majors preferred.
  • Experience: Previous work experience preferred
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites, including outlook, and basic understanding on internet
  • Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively; excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Special Skills:A successful candidate for an Intern position should possess the following: Be a motivated self-starter who has the desire to learn from others; ability to work independently or as part of a team; strong problem-solving skills; time management and multi-tasking abilities; and strong interpersonal skills
  • Location: Must live within 60 miles of the facility.

Position-Specific Requirements:This position is a year-round internship where the selected candidate is expected to work in person full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer and in person part time during the school year (20 hours per week.) This is a paid internship located at our Springdale, Arkansas World Headquarters.
