Physical Requirements and Work Environment

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the position with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Semi-Skilled positions involve the use of knives and hooks and require employees to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Employees must be able and willing to work in varying environmental conditions, including hot, cold, and humid environments.

Essential functions of this position include:

  • Using knives, hooks, and other job-related tools safely and effectively.

  • Standing for extended periods, typically 6 to 8 hours or more per shift.

  • Working at a stationary workstation, moving table, or production line.

  • Frequently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials weighing up to 80 pounds.

  • Applying physical force as required to perform job duties safely and efficiently.

  • Properly wearing and maintaining all required PPE throughout the work shift.

The work environment may include exposure to hot, cold, humid, and production-related conditions.

Requirements:

Previous knife experience minimum of 6 months on the job experience.
