Stock Attendant/Finished Goods
Grade Level 2
The Stock Attendant receives and stores finished goods of Resale and Dwyer manufacture.The IP's received are verified for quantity and product accuracy per the IP paperwork, product is transported to the proper stocking location using carts, flat beds, or forklift. Bulk pack labels and specials that require labeling are done prior to putting on the shelf. The IP paperwork for each product is scanned along with the shelf location that the product is being stocked at. Any transfers or adjustments to inventory are done at this time, the product is then stocked at the location using the FIFO method. Resale Finished Goods are put to stock at the appropriate location stated on the carton using the FIFO method and any transfers or adjustments are done at this time using the scanner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Verify quantities and product match the IP paperwork
  • Discrepancy Form is completed for any defective material, missing paperwork or product
  • Product is transported to the stocking location and the inventory transaction is done
  • Product is stocked appropriately and rotated using the FIFO method
  • Return to Stock cart is cleaned off as needed
  • Maintain back stop

Requirements

Required Skills / Experience / Equipment Operation:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Warehouse experience preferred

  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders
