Job description

Job Details:

This position is responsible for operating trucks and moving trailers in and out of loading areas while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Work shift: 2nd shift. Based pay: $22.10 plus shift differential

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for moving trucks on the yard while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The Yard Driver moves empty trailers from the staging area to the shipping dock. In addition, the Yard Driver moves full trailers from the shipping dock to the staging area to await shipment. This position also washes trailers as needed and helps clean up around the shipping area and trash dock. Must be able to understand labels, read recipes, follow instructions, and communicate effectively.

*MUST PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS TASKED BY ADMINISTRATION.

Job Requirements:

6-month Operator experience listed on the application.

  • Must have a valid driver's license

  • At least 18 years of age.

  • No DUI/DWI in the last 12 months

OFFICAL MVR RECORD must be checked POST-OFFER and RECEIVED by Tyson before applicant will be moved into position.

Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 90 days.

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
