JOB SUMMARY: The Graphic Designer is a permanent role responsible for producing vibrant and visually compelling design solutions for multi-platform use, including digital design, social media, packaging and print.

As the brains behind our narrative and the voice behind our brand, it is your job to ensure that our messages are always clear, consistent, and fresh. Your portfolio should demonstrate your creativity and ability to translate brand requirements into thoughtful designs that push the social impact of Stevens Transport forward.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking conceptual direction and developing art work and layout solutions

  • Designing a wide variety of creative assets (master templates, signage, print advertisements, promotional materials, email, photography, etc.)

  • Creating e-blasts and social media content in coordination with the marketing team

  • Re-sizing photography for web and print

  • Ensuring brand standards are consistent across the board (typography, style, composition, colors, etc.)

  • Managing in-house retouching- includes editing, cropping and processing high quality standard images

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required in a design-related discipline, such as graphic design or visual communication

  • Deep understanding of typography for print, web, and mobile

  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

  • Portfolio

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing high impact social media marketing

  • Self-starter - sets specific goals and objectives, ability to plan for the length and difficulty of assignments, ability to break down projects into specific tasks/steps

  • Must be able to fulfill a high volume of daily requests while also developing long-term projects

  • Experience with Mailchimp campaigns

  • Works well under pressure and is capable of remaining calm and focused despite rapidly changing priorities / competing deadlines
