Data Architect  (15+ Years) – Irving, TX (Hybrid, 3 Days WFO)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess current SQL Server, SSIS, SQL Agent, stored procedures, Alteryx, SFTP/SharePoint pipelines, and dependencies.
  • Design target-state Databricks Lakehouse architecture and ETL modernization strategy.
  • Define data migration, lineage, source-to-target mappings, validation, and cutover plans.
  • Ensure continuity of downstream reporting and integrations.
  • Create architecture documentation and provide implementation oversight.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Data Architecture (Legacy & Modern Platforms)
  • SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, SQL Agent
  • Databricks, Spark, PySpark, Delta Lake, Lakehouse
  • ETL/ELT Modernization & Pipeline Migration
  • Data Lineage, Migration, Validation & Reconciliation
  • Azure (ADF, ADLS) and Cloud Data Platforms
