Anesthesiologist - 4-Day Work Week with 3 On/1 Off Schedule | Northwest Louisiana Hospital

Join a premier healthcare facility in Northwest Louisiana as a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist. This employed faculty position offers an exceptional work-life balance with a unique 4x10 schedule, weekly day off, and a built-in 3-weeks-on/1-week-off rotation. Practice anesthesiology across diverse specialties including trauma, neuro, OB, orthopedic, and pediatric cases while working alongside experienced CRNAs, residents, and fellows in a collaborative academic medical environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive anesthesia services across multiple specialties including trauma anesthesia, neuroanesthesia, obstetric anesthesia, orthopedic anesthesia, and pediatric anesthesia
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs), anesthesiology residents, and fellows
  • Deliver high-quality perioperative care in a busy hospital setting with diverse case complexity
  • Participate in faculty responsibilities within an academic medical environment
  • Engage in optional research opportunities to advance anesthesiology practice and knowledge
  • Maintain professional standards and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide on-call coverage as part of departmental rotation schedule
Job Requirements
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Anesthesiology
  • Eligible for Louisiana medical license or currently licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana
  • Completion of accredited anesthesiology residency program
