RATE of PAY: $18.00-$23.00 per hour depending upon years of experience and years of supervisory experience.
JOB SUMMARY:
This Embroidery Lead's responsibilities include setting job files up, hooping, trimming, software knowledge to make basic adjustments, and basic maintenance and repair. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a fast paced, team environment.
As a lead, you are responsible for the training of new employees and advancing the skillsets of current employees. You are responsible for managing your time and the time of your direct report(s) while working efficiently.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (includes other duties as required):
  • Completing the daily workload.
  • Planning of the daily order flow through the department.
  • Follow a production schedule.
  • Emailing the order number and stitch count of every completed order to the appropriate email accounts.
  • Update the "shipped date" of orders in Playmaker.
  • Approve and sign off on the first piece of every location using the Approval SOP.
  • Spot check completed orders to ensure quantities are correct and quality standards are met.
  • Work to capacity.
  • Operate a 6 head and single head Barudan embroidery machine.
  • Operate a laser cutter.
  • Ability to use necessary software for loading and adjusting artwork.
  • Hooping and trimming.
  • Apply Heat-seal waterproofing.
  • Perform general maintenance and repair of machines.
  • Inventory management of consumables.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workplace.
  • Train current and new employees.
  • Work to continuously improve the department.
  • Adhering to and enforcing company policies and safety procedures.
  • May be cross trained in other areas of the department based on business needs.
