Hello! We are Premier Academy Walnut, a tutoring center committed to providing students with an enriching, well-rounded experience to help them achieve their academic goals. As we continue to grow, we are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team and contribute to our mission.
Expectations

As a Full-Time Associate Director, you are expected to play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the center, maintaining high academic standards, and assisting with both instructional quality and student outcomes. You will work closely with the Campus Director and tutoring staff to ensure students receive excellent academic support and that tutors are well-supported in delivering that support.
What Were Looking For in an Associate Director:

  • Demonstrates strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage day-to-day operations of an academic center.
  • Experience in curriculum development, instructional coaching, or academic advising.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  • Adaptability in handling both academic and administrative responsibilities.
  • Long-term commitment to supporting students and staff throughout the school year and/or summer session.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to center management.
  • Flexibility with scheduling to support student and staffing needs.
    Bonus Qualifications:
    • CBEST certification or a primary/secondary teaching credential.
    • Experience with the Walnut Valley Unified School District (WVUSD).
Responsibilities
  • Support the Campus Director in managing day-to-day operations and ensuring instructional quality.
  • Observe tutoring sessions and provide guidance or feedback to improve instructional delivery.
  • Coordinate training and onboarding for new tutors.
  • Track student progress and ensure session documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Communicate with parents regarding student outcomes and academic plans, as needed.
  • Help develop or refine curriculum resources and instructional materials.
  • Assist with scheduling and staffing needs in coordination with the front office.
  • Provide classroom or tutoring support in emergency or substitute situations.
  • Help plan and lead seasonal programs (e.g., summer sessions, workshops).
Position Type: Full-time
Typically MondayFriday, 10:00 AM 7:00 PM, with occasional weekend availability for special events or meetings.
