SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
The Kindergarten Blast Off Tutor positions, for the Title I Summer Program, are part-time positions assisting children under the direction of the classroom instructor, entering into Kindergarten with Kindergarten readiness skills. The 2025 Title I Program will be in person for students and staff.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  1. Knowledge of child development, instructional strategies and practices applicable to assignment.
  2. Ability to assist with implementation of the instructional program and to participate in monitoring and ensuring appropriate student behavior.
  3. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and to perform all required tasks.
  4. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  5. Knowledge of standard desktop computer hardware and software such as MS Office products and database software.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associates Degree and NH DOE certification as a Paraeducator II preferred.
SCHEDULE:
August 3, 2026 - August 7, 2026 (Monday-Friday)
8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (30 minute unpaid lunch)
Note: Training day will be July 30, 2026 (9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.)
COMPENSATION:
$28.00 per hour with a Paraeducator II Certification
$25.00 per hour without Paraeducator II Certification
