Job Summary:
Make a difference in a students life! We are looking for an Elementary Education Tutor for one on one in home tutoring, located about 5 minutes from Kohl's on Westminster Drive.
Are you currently attending college? We prefer Elementary Education majors.
Sessions will be two times per week between 4 and 6 PM.
Tutoring looks great on a resume and it is very rewarding when your students achieve the results they want.
Responsibilities:
  • Help a student learn multiple elementary subjects
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Offer guidance and support to help students improve their test-taking skills
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in higher education teaching or tutoring is preferred
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in the subjects mentioned above
  • GPA of 3.2 or higher if current student
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
  • Patience and the ability to motivate students to achieve their academic goals
