POSITION SUMMARY:

Focus Interpreting is actively looking for a skilled Turkish Interpreter to join our team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality interpreting services that facilitate smooth communication between English-speaking individuals and Turkish-speaking clients across various settings, including healthcare, legal, and community services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interpret spoken communications in real-time to ensure clarity and comprehension between English and Turkish speakers.
  • Utilize effective interpretation techniques to deliver professional services in diverse environments, including face-to-face, telephonic, and video interpretations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards as required in interpreting practice.
  • Prepare for assignments by researching relevant terminology and cultural nuances that impact interpretation.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your language skills and knowledge of specific industries.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fluency in both English and Turkish, with strong oral and written communication skills in both languages.
