Job description

Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine America is looking for a skilled Sales Coordinator to join our Sales Marine team in Itasca, IL. 

The Sales Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of the MTEA Marine Business. This role works closely with customers, distributors, internal departments and MHIET to ensure quotes are accurate, projects stay on track, and execution gaps are resolved efficiently.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

     Prepare and manage quotes, pricing, and commercial follow-ups to support sales activities.

    Monitor orders, delivery schedules, and key milestones from quotation through delivery.

Coordinate communication between customers, distributors, internal department and MHIET.

     Drive follow-up meetings, track action items, and ensure commitments are met.

Contribute to the creation and improvement of internal SOPs and workflows.

  Provide direct day-to-day commercial coordination support to Marine Management.

    Perform other duties as assigned by MTEA management

 Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business.
  • At least 2 years experience in sales or related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) across all internal levels and Global Company sites, including sister plants and business partners.
  • Experience in industrial, distribution (combustion engine experience a plus)
  • Strong computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Must be able to occasionally move and or lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to stand throughout the workday
