Position Overview

Wicked Tuna in Murrells Inlet is seeking a skilled and reliable Meat Cutter to join our team. This role focuses on preparing high-quality cuts of meat including filet, ribeye, and house-ground burgers. Ideal candidates take pride in precision, consistency, and maintaining top food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut, trim, and portion steaks including filet and ribeye to restaurant specifications
  • Grind and prepare fresh burger meat daily
  • Maintain consistency in portion size, quality, and presentation
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and storage guidelines
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and properly stocked
  • Assist with inventory control and proper rotation of product (FIFO)
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
