Job description

Position Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Prep Cook to join our team for day shifts. The ideal candidate can follow recipes accurately, work independently, and assist team members when needed. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Schedule Requirements:
  • Day shift availability required
  • Must be available weekends and holidays

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards
  • Read and follow recipes accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas
  • Rotate stock and ensure proper food storage (FIFO)
  • Receive and properly put away deliveries/truck orders
  • Assist line cooks and other kitchen staff as needed
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Qualifications:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to lift and carry products as needed
  • Serve Safe certification preferred (not required)
  • Previous kitchen or prep experience is an asset
