Job Brief:  Palliative Care Physician

Summary:

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) is one of Georgia's (GA) largest independent, physician-owned, multi-specialty medical groups. More than 700 physicians and 300 associate practitioners work together in a unique integrated care model to provide high-quality care to Kaiser Permanente (KP) members. Our focus is on long-term health, effective prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease.  Care is delivered across 40+ specialties at 26 medical offices featuring state-of-the-art equipment, labs, imaging services, and pharmacies. We also provide surgical services and around-the-clock care at some of the area's top hospitals.  We invite applications for full-time Palliative Care physician positions located in metro Atlanta.

What You Can Expect:

  • Mix of inpatient and outpatient palliative medicine
  • Outpatient visits with patients occur in Kaiser Permanente medical offices and inpatient work at Emory St. Josephs or Emory Decatur hospitals
  • Collaboration with interdisciplinary team
  • Participates in community presentations, KP GA presentations and TSPMG continuing medical education activities as appropriate

Minimum Requirements:

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified by American Board of Medical Specialties or board eligible in Palliative Care Medicine
  • Willingness to travel to various locations for patient care
