Job description

About Senpi

Senpi is building the agent runtime for Hyperliquid. Backed by $4.5M from Lemniscap and Coinbase Ventures, the company develops agentic execution infrastructure, a proprietary data layer (Hyperfeed), and an open-source strategy marketplace for autonomous AI trading agents.

Hyperliquid is the largest decentralized perpetual exchange (~$7B daily volume, $4T cumulative, 70%+ market share). Senpi provides the infrastructure layer enabling agents to operate on it.

The team includes founders of Airstack and engineers from Trust Wallet and Aave.

About the Role

You'll own core systems inside the Senpi Agent Runtime — infrastructure that ensures autonomous agents operate safely with real capital.

This is a high-ownership, runtime-critical role working closely with the CTO and founding team. The culture is execution-focused: bugs become impossible by design, and systems are hardened continuously.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and scale the Hyperfeed data pipeline (real-time enrichment, trader intelligence)
  • Develop runtime execution systems (serial processing, atomic state, risk enforcement)
  • Implement DSL-based exit engine (state machine, trailing stop-loss logic)
  • Expand scanner systems and signal processing pipelines
  • Build learning agent infrastructure (agents improving themselves via data)
  • Scale system from hundreds tens of thousands of agents
Requirements
  • Staff-level backend engineer (end-to-end ownership)
  • Strong crypto-native experience (wallets, trading systems, APIs, execution flows)
  • Strong TypeScript/Node.js experience
  • Golang experience
  • Python (nice to have)
  • Deep understanding of event-driven systems and state machines
  • Experience with financial-grade reliability systems
  • Active use of AI tools in development
  • Experience running production systems (monitoring, incidents, RCA)
Bonus Skills
  • Hyperliquid experience
  • Trading systems / fintech background
