Trust Operations Specialist | Overland Park, KS Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire| $25-27ph. LHH is partnering with a well-established organization within the banking industry who is seeking to hire a detail-oriented and service-focused Trust Operations Specialist. This role supports the daily administration and operations of trust and fiduciary accounts while partnering closely with internal teams, clients, and external vendors. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in banking operations and a passion for delivering exceptional client service. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to expand their career within trust, wealth management, or financial services operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support the administration and maintenance of trust and fiduciary accounts
  • Process account activity, transactions, distributions, and documentation accurately and timely
  • Coordinate with internal departments, investment teams, attorneys, and third-party vendors as needed
  • Review trust documents and account records for completeness and compliance
  • Assist with account openings, closings, transfers, and ongoing account servicing
  • Monitor account activity and complete operational tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Respond to client and advisor inquiries while providing a high level of customer service
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
  • Assist with special projects and operational initiatives as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2+ years of banking operations experience required
  • Experience within trust operations, trust administration, wealth management, private banking, deposit operations, treasury services, or financial services operations preferred
  • Strong understanding of banking procedures, documentation, and account servicing
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Trust operations experience
  • Experience supporting fiduciary, estate, or investment accounts
  • Exposure to trust accounting systems or wealth management platforms
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
