Job description

Citi is looking for an experienced Client Executive to join its Issuer Services/Agency & Trust Transaction & Relationship Management team, serving as a trusted advisor to clients across capital markets transactions. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of client relationships and deals that span Corporate Debt, Structured Finance, CLOs, and Specialized Agency, while partnering closely with internal teams to deliver tailored financial solutions. This is an opportunity to make a direct and measurable impact on client outcomes at one of the world's leading financial institutions.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as support for an assigned portfolio of Agency & Trust clients, managing day-to-day relationships across Corporate Debt, Structured Finance, CLO, and Specialized Agency transactions.
  • Oversee the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Agency & Trust transactions, coordinating with Operations on transaction setup, activity management, and reporting.
  • Interact with transaction stakeholders - including bankers, legal counsel, lenders, and noteholders - through all phases of the transaction lifecycle, from onboarding through ongoing maintenance.
  • Partner with control functions including Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Audit to uphold governance standards and ensure all transactions meet applicable regulatory and policy requirements.
  • Assess the risk and reward of business decisions to protect Citi's reputation and clients' interests, escalating issues with transparency where required.

Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Five or more years of experience in financial services, with direct exposure to corporate trust, or a related client-facing function.
  • Demonstrated ability to support a portfolio of client relationships and complex financial transactions from initiation through completion.
  • Clear and confident communicator, able to engage effectively with clients, peers, senior stakeholders, legal counsel, and cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy across a high-volume transaction environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Familiarity with corporate trust and associated products which include; structured finance, project finance and specialized agency. ,
  • Exposure to cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Risk, Compliance, or Legal teams in a transaction-management context.
