Job description

Wolverine Trading is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Recruiting Coordinator to join our talent acquisition team. This is a high-ownership role at a firm where hiring the right people is directly tied to how we compete. You'll be the operational engine behind our hiring process, shaping how every candidate, hiring manager, and recruiter experiences it from first touch to offer.
Interview Coordination & Logistics
  •  Own end-to-end interview scheduling for virtual and in-person interviews across multiple roles and business functions simultaneously.
  •  Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to coordinate complex, multi-panel interview loops with speed and precision.
  •  Manage interviewer calendars, room bookings, video conferencing setup, and day-of communications to ensure a polished, frictionless experience.
  •  Prepare and distribute interview materials, including candidate profiles, scorecards, and agendas.
Candidate Experience
  •  Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process, delivering timely, warm, and professional communication at every stage.
  •  Anticipate and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts, travel arrangements, or logistical issues before they impact the candidate experience.
  •  Help build the systems that track candidate experience and process health over time, so we can keep raising the bar on what "great" looks like.
  •  Collect and relay candidate feedback to recruiters to support continuous process improvement.
Recruiting Operations & Tools
  •  Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records and workflows in the ATS, ensuring data integrity across all active requisitions.
  •  Support requisition management, job posting, and offer letter preparation in partnership with recruiters and HR.
  •  Build and maintain reporting that gives leadership real visibility into hiring progress, candidate experience, and team performance.
  •  Identify opportunities to streamline coordination workflows and contribute to process documentation and improvement initiatives.
Stakeholder Partnership
  •  Build strong relationships with hiring managers, interviewers, and recruiting partners to facilitate a collaborative and efficient hiring process.
  •  Participate in intake meetings and debrief sessions to support recruiters and capture key stakeholder feedback.
  •  Serve as a reliable resource for interviewers - providing guidance on the process, tools, and expectations.
Employer Branding & Talent Programs
  •  Build lasting relationships with past candidates, interns, and referral networks, turning every search into the foundation for the next one.
  •  Help grow our presence in the campus chapters, affinity organizations, and community networks where great talent already lives - expanding who gets the chance to work here.
  •  Support employer branding initiatives, recruiting events, and campus or community engagement activities.
  •  Assist in building talent pipelines for high-volume or recurring roles through sourcing support and candidate outreach.
  •  1-2+ years of experience in a recruiting coordinator, HR coordinator, or similar operational role, ideally in a high-growth or fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  •  Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  •  Proficiency with ATS platforms and scheduling tools.
  •  A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a high degree of ownership and follow-through.
  •  Comfort operating in ambiguity and adapting quickly to shifting priorities.
  •  A genuine passion for candidate experience and the belief that every touchpoint matters.
  •  Ability to work onsite Monday-Friday.
Our flat organizational structure promotes teamwork across the Firm and offers easy access to senior staff. While we work exceptionally well as a team in the office, our bonds are further strengthened through company events, activities and giving back. Volleyball, soccer, hockey, 5K runs, picnic, parties, and trivia nights provide friendly competition and build better relationships. By getting out of our usual environment and doing out-of-the-ordinary things together, we foster creativity and broaden our imaginations to accomplish new challenges.

Benefits:
  • Highly competitive salary & bonus opportunity
  • Generous paid time off and flexible scheduling
  • 100% coverage of medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits for single coverage
  • Generous Paid Parental Leave
