Job description

Job Summary:

Responsible for care of patient in operating room. Provides and ensures safe and therapeutically effective patient care. Maintains work area. Participates in 24-hour call coverage. Responsible for preparing, assembling and maintenance of operating room instrumentation and equipment. Responsible for scrubbing a wide variety of surgical cases.

Education and Training:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

Licensures/ Certifications:

  • Washington State Surgical Tech license required.
  • Current American Heart Association’s BLS/CPR certification card on hire.

Experience:

  • Medical background/previous hospital experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Attention to detail.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Able to work well both individually and in a team.
